Into the Black Box is a trans-disciplinary research group, established in 2017, working on the cooperation between the studies on logistics, digital platforms, urbanisation processes and social conflicts.
The group, which includes also researchers from other universities than Bologna’, has participated in several research activities (H2020 PLUS project) and organises a public seminar every year (in 2021/2022 On the Frontiers of Amazon-Capitalism, in 2022/2023 Which Future for Globalisation?).

Into the Black Box also experiments with forms of visual and artistic research, such as the collaboration with the Austrian pavilion at the Architecture Biennale 2021 in Venice and the Technocene exhibition cycle.
